So Wednesday Kayla stayed home from school because of bad weather and on Thursday the class was going on a field trip and would get back too late for Kayla's van so she was also home on Thursday. Today she went to school. As far as we know she had a good day. Her driver told us that she seemed upset to be coming home.
This afternoon Peter and April took her for her ankle braces to help her stand. She is eating regular food but on Monday they will do a swallow study to make sure she can eat regular food. The system is crazy. That is why we have been without a speech therapist because they needed the swallow study I guess.
It is very frustrating working thru the system with no guide but we are learning. Hopefully soon Kayla will stay at school for a longer time.
The Christmas photos you added are beautiful! Kayla and her sister look so sweet!! Thank you for the updates. I'm thrilled to hear that Kayla is getting better and better each day.
