This week on Monday Kayla has a swallow study done. It is an x-ray exam with a liquid stuff you drink so it shows on the x-ray when she swallows. Peter has not gotten the results yet.
Kayla went to school Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for half days. She has physical therapy at home three afternoons a week for the rest of December. Hopefully she will start next year going full days to school.
Today Kayla skipped school and we all went to our elementary school for the Christmas program. The whole 4th grade said "hello Kayla" when they were done with their song. It was wonderful. After the program we went and visited Mr. Fisher and some other teachers and students. Kayla was full of smiles and gave everyone a hug. She enjoyed herself.
