Today Kayla went to school. The school she is going to is about 45 minutes away. The driver picked her up at 7:45 am. I went to school with her today to introduce Kayla to the teacher and staff at the school and to observe and to answer any questions about Kayla and her needs.
She has quite an active day with songs and stretching in the morning. Some more singing and counting, colors and words for the week. Then the teacher helped Kayla do a coloring activity.
Kayla enjoyed the other students and the teacher. For right now Kayla only went for a few hours until we see how much she can handle. I am going to school again tomorrow. Kayla will probably stay home on Wednesday due to some nasty weather coming our way.
