Thursday, Nov. 11 - 9 PM

So I called the neurosurgeon's office on Thursday morning and made an appointment for Kayla to see her on Nov. 22. On Thursday afternoon, Dr. Dewitt's office called(he is her primary care physician) and told us he did not like something on the CT scan and he thought that maybe the shunt was not working properly. So I called Syracuse and changed the appointment to the next day. Friday, Oct 29 Peter and I took Kayla to see Dr. Tovar-Spinosa. She checked the CT scan and everything is fine. She was thrilled to see Kayla and see the progress she is making and she wants to see her again in 6 months. (when the weather gets nice again)

Kayla started therapy in the pool three weeks ago. I went with her the last two Tuesdays to help get her dressed and send her off to school. Kayla loves being in the pool. She got a little upset when it was time to get out.

Seeing Kayla at St. Joseph's center is wonderful. While she is waiting in the morning in the lobby, everyone who goes by stops to say "hi" or give her a high five. She is just such a social perons. Even in the pool she is high fiving all the ladies and giving out kisses.

Today she did not have school. Kayla and Madison played outside. I am hoping that I can transfer the pictures from her facebook page, pictures of her sitting on the new paved driveway writing with chalk.
