This morning Kayla had her first shower in a long time. They have this neat stretcher that goes right into the shower. We were able to get off a lot of the dead skin from her legs. I think she enjoyed it.

This evening Peter helped the nurses get her out of bed and into her wheelchair so she could have a change of scenery. We came into the day room and all the other patients here were there too. Kayla liked watching the baby. He is about 6 months old.

Tomorrow morning she will be leaving for the hospital in Allentown at 6 am. Hopefully she will be back here Tuesday without her trach. Say a little prayer that all is well with the scope of her throat so that they can take the trach out.
