BIG NEWS!!! today they removed her casts from her legs. She can use the right leg for weight bearing but not the left yet but can do full range of motion exercises.
She has a big week coming up. On Monday she will go to the hospital and they are going to do a scope of her throat. As long as everything is OK they will remove the trach.
It is so exciting to see her progressing thru these medical issues. Once all of them are resolved we can move along with walking and talking.
Last night I gave her a spoon of thickened lemonade and she made a really sour face.
Tonight she is having mac and cheese again. The speech therapist is feeding her tonight just to check her swallowing.
I want to thank all who have sent cards, presents, and money. If you directly deposited money into her account thank you. Unfortunately I have no way of getting names from the bank. So you have our thanks.
This is awesome! She remains in my prayers & on the prayer list at church.
