So the drain was removed this evening and Kayla is doing fine.

They also took the stitches out of her forehead as well.

She has been responding more and more, it seems her left hand is her window to what's going on around her now. She very much communicates with her hand by squeezing to let you know how she is feeling.

I forgot - so modified the post - she is off the drip with all meds, she only gets meds as needed.

Not much else new to report today...but baby steps are great!
