This is Kayla walking in the poolOnce again I am sorry to have not updated recently.
Kayla has been having therapy in the pool. On pool day I go to help get her dressed after her swim. We sit in the lobby and wait for her therapists to get there. While waiting lots of other people come thru the lobby and they all know Kayla. Most of them pause to give her a "high five". She is very social.
Two weeks ago at swimming she walked in the pool without holding on to anything or anybody. It was awesome.
Kayla has had several field trips in the last month, one to Tobyhanna for a Christmas party and a trip to the Mall to see Santa Claus.
Tonight I went stay with Kayla and Madison while Peter and April went to a fire department meeting. Kayla was in her bed watching television. I sat with her and held her hand. She gave me lots of kisses.
We are thankful every day for her progress and the fact that she is still here with us. Thank you all for still checking on her and keeping her in your prayers. I will try to post more often.
