Starting tomorrow, Kayla is going to school all day, every day.

Yesterday Katelyn and Ryan, two of Kayla's cousins, took their new St. Bernard puppy to visit Kayla. The puppy, Harley, is cute, small and fluffy and Kayla loved her and did not want her to leave. I would like to find a small, cuddly, fluffy dog for her. Let me know what breed you think might work.

Saturday was the first time that Kayla answered me when I said, "Goodbye." She said, "Goodbye" back to me. It is wonderful all the new words she is using.

On Saturday it was such a nice day Peter and April took Kayla outside. Kayla was upset because she wanted to swing on the swing but they only have regular swings. So today Frank, Kayla's grandfather, replaces their regular swings with a bench swing so that Kayla can swing when it is nice.

  1. Shih Tzus are wonderful pets. They're small, fluffy, and terrific with children. I love the idea of Kayla having a new puppy to love. I am a stranger, but am following her story with so much happiness and hope. She is lucky to have so many people who love her.

  2. I think maybe a pug or a jack russell would work. They are both small enough to sit in Kayla's lap and are very affectionate.
Glad to see Kayla is improving!!
