On Monday there was no school so Kayla was home. Her mom and dad went to do some grocery shopping. I stayed with Kayla. We sang the alphabet together. Kayla's voice is very quiet and she did not say each letter but she was mouthing the letters. She is definitely making progress. Kayla's aunt Anne called while I was there and she talked to Kayla. Kayla responded with "OK" several times during their conversation.
When I came into the house she wanted to shake my hand and pulled me down to give me a kiss. She is so much more awake and aware these days that it makes my heart sing.
