Today Kayla was visited by a team from her school, Director of Special Services, Psychologist and Physical Therapist. They are in the process of evaluation so they can begin services. Kayla is already getting physical, occupational, and speech therapy thru medical assistance. So then she would have additional therapy thru the school.
NOTICE: There will be a benefit dinner for Kayla on Friday, November 13 at the Thompson Hose Company in Thompson, PA. Dinner Buffet 4 PM - 8 PM. Chicken & Biscuit, Ham & Scallop Potatoes, Tossed Salad, Green Beans, Corn, Beverage & dessert. Entertainment will be Keystone Jukebox 7 PM - 10 PM. Also there will be a chinese auction from 4 PM - 10 PM. Adult tickets $10.00, Child (under 12) $8.00. Thank you for posting theses updates. Its great to hear about her progress. We often forget how hard it is after the tramua is over and the healing has to begin. Its a long hard struggle, but Kayla will get there!
