Happy Birthday Kayla!! The Staff decorated Kayla's room and made cupcakes for her. All the staff, patients, and family got together this morning and sang Happy Birthday to her. Kayla had a huge wonderful smile on her face. (the first one in a long time).
She is doing ok with her therapy but still not talking. This week they will concentrate and getting her to look and do things from the right side. Also they are trying to get her up and out of bed for more of the day.
Today she was sitting on a bench learning to maintain an upright position. It was hard work and she does not like wearing the helmet.
