Kayla had a good day today with no stomach problems.
The physical therapist put her in a stand-er. It lays flat to get her in and then can move her to a standing position. They only put it up at a 60 degree angle to start today. This way she can begin to put weight on her legs with lots of support.
Most of the rest of the day she was sleeping. After reading some information about the stages a person goes thru after a head injury, she seems to be moving to the stage IV level. This stage exhibit itself with agitation. But also sensitivity to movement, light and sound. Today she became agitated but when I shut off the tv & lights she calmed right down. So after her therapies she will have a quiet time. There is a sign on her door allowing her to mellow out for a time. Hopefully this will help.
Now if I could just get her to eat. It upsets me alot more than it upsets her when she does not eat. I guess she will when she is ready.
