July 21 - 9 pm

So today we had a meeting with the whole team, doctor, all the therapists, nurse, case manager etc. They are all working to get her moving, eating, communicating. They are still feeling out just where she is and how far she might be able to go. We have some big hurdles to jump. But I am sure that with prayer all things are possible.

Tomorrow she will have a swallowing test done as a step to getting her eating and getting to a point of removing the trach. Also they are going to x-ray her legs and her arm so that the orthopedist here can decide what comes next. Her legs have been in casts for 6 weeks so lots of healing has already started. They just want to see how much.

They are also working on a brace for her right hand to keep the fingers extended as her fingers are curled into her palm.
