Kayla's surgery went well and it appears in the next 3 or 4 days if all goes well she will be moved to a rehab facility. We don't know for sure what rehab facility she will be moved to, but it will be one in Pennsylvania, since that is where they live.
My sister called and talked to the nurse this afternoon and got a funny story that is so true to Kayla's spirit.
Kayla was scratching at her eye, and the nurse grabbed her hand and told her that she can't scratch her eye, she didn't want her to hurt herself, she could scratch her nose but not her eye or she would have to tie her arm down. And again reminded her she could scratch her nose but not her eye, so she let go of her arm.
Well Kayla scratched her nose and got a little smirk and scratched her eye...such a pistol she is! Glad to know she's getting her spunk back!
