So today they took Kayla's casts off, just to check everything and to be sure there were no infections, then they recast the legs. They have started her on antibotics for the infection.
She is breathing ok with just the power assist. Not very awake today but she is working hard breathing, hopefully once they get her feeds going again, they had to stop her feeds to do the trach and the G tube, so getting things going ok and hopefully they can get the temp down.
We're still praying for Kayla and all the family. Megan's G-tube was such a good thing for her. I hope it works out well for Kayla too. Let us know if there is anything we can do!
