So I am trying to update morning and evening. But there is really nothing new to report.
So in the words of her neurologist, "A boring day is a good day."
So earlier today my sister spoke to the nurse, and what she told my sister no one else had heard about so...I don't know, I'm assuming it's true. I'm just guessing she may have told my brother but he didn't relay the info to my mom.
Anyways the nurse told my sister that while cleaning Kayla's mouth out, Kayla grabbed at the nurse's hand. So if this is true, this is good news.
Also they are hoping that in the next week or so, she will wake up, but it all depends on how she does coming off some of the sedation meds.
Thank you to everyone that is reading, posting and praying. Kayla and the family all have a long road to recovery. So, please keep the prayers coming. Right now, we are all frustrated that there is not more that we can do, but we just have to wait it out. When Kayla wakes up, we want her to know how much she is loved by so many people, so please share all of your words of encouragement for her to read soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy love and thanks to all!
